A mad 30 minute Dog media video from Irish jobs. The guys are about to start in new jobs, and they ring in with crazy excuses. It took from 4 to 6 excuses to get fired.
I’m surprised the employers were so patient.

Whilst lecturers in a permanent position enjoy good working conditions, it’s not the same for their often equally qualified research associates.
Low pay, short term contracts, lack of promotional opportunities are constant problems. The DCU Contract researchers association have produced a useful document outlining the problems and what needs to change.

Garvis Snook believes the high accident rate in the building industry is down to causualisation- that is  labourers are all self employed. His one billion pound very profitable company uses people who are all employed directly by him and he makes sure they’re properly trained. He also believes home ownership is over rated. Got quoted in the Irish Independent yesterday on thinking about job moves whilst on holidays. However, I’m not just suggesting you just look at whether you prefer sitting at a desk to moving around.
You need to look at all aspects of the job!
