Work transition workshop

Friday, July 17th, 2009

The well respected Chrysalis team (based in Wicklow) are running a series of one day workshop retreats for people impacted by redundancy or the recession.

At only €20 including lunch and refreshments these will be well worthwhile. A nice gift for a person in your life who is stressed?

”A support day for people in transition from redundancy or living with the effects of the recession. The purpose of these days is to meet with others who are going through similar life challenges, take a break from your daily routine and recharge your body, mind and spirit. These relaxing days offer time to take stock, review where you are and set your intentions for the future. The nurturing environment of Chrysalis is an ideal backdrop for this day of retreat and renewal. We genuinely want to offer practical support for these times and the day is priced to encourage maximum participation.”

Dates are
Sept 8th
October 6th
November 10th
December 8th

On first two of these days, five people will be able to volunteer for outdoor activity and have lunch free.

Open Event : design and dignity Thurs 19th June

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008

A very interesting event, a lecture by Roger Ulrich a leading proponent of  good environments in healthcare.

Did you know that hospital patients with a view of nature get better quicker?

In many American states it is actually illegal to build multi bed rooms.

Might seem unobtainable in the land of treat the patients on a trolly , but the research shows  it actually saves money.

Chaired by the fabulous actor Gabriel Byrne, this will be very worthwhile.

When:  Thursday the 19th June at 7pm

Location St Ann’s church, Dawson street, d2

Admission free, but booking essential contact joanna.garcia(at)hospice-foundation.ie or phone 6730068
